Seminar Workshop on Preparing Assessment and Publication for the Web
The training has this introduction:
Nowadays, we find many students discussing what they have read and found in their facebook accounts rather that talking our lessons inside the class. Tumblr, Facebooks and other social networks are evidence that students are becoming netizens rather citizens of our respective classroom.
We cannot stop them from entering these social networks, but we can make them learn while entering these sites by putting our lessons and our assessments in any of these social networking sites.
In Marcell (2008) Effectiveness of Regular Online Quizzing in Increasing Class Participation and Preparation, she stressed that frequent, regularly scheduled quizzing is associated with pedagogically desirable outcomes such as higher performance on exams. Marcell added that requiring students to complete brief scheduled online quizzes on assigned reading material before class would also result in increases in both the number of in-class questions and comments and the number of students who read the material prior to class.
The purpose of this 1-day seminar workshop is to help teachers bring their classes in the net, that students can open teachers’ lesson anytime of the day and participate actively in the classroom discussions and social networks forum where the subject lesson extension is placed.

I'm back. Sorry for the delay. I was very busy and needed some time to think on what are the things to share on this page. So, if you have something in mind that you want me to bring it here, please email me.
The First Periodical Test in English 2 has just ended. Teachers now surely are computing their students's grades and some perhaps have not finished checking their students' test papers. For many of us teachers, checking test papers is a tedious job that we do not want happen especially if our family or friends are thinking for short vacation heheheheh. Some of our students too do not like to check their classmates' papers and to subject to raising of hands for frequency of errors.
This is now my subject on this blog. Why not us to go for interactive quiz maker? An assessment that can be used/reused for future lessons that have the same objectives, a test that no longer needs for manual checking and that tiring raising of hands, a test that can be opened or there for a limited time, a test that can be accessed on line and a test where there are lessons to reckon with.
Interesting? Here, I made a sample of that test. Please comment.

Reading Remediation Drill
Every year, we always encounter students who have difficulty in reading. We cannot blame their former teachers nor the kind of upbringing they have in their families but to do the necessary steps to remedy this problem. One way to combat this problem is to provide them with drills. Here, I got this from the internet. I hope this can help us all.
